Ashley Nicole Williams was born on July 17, 1989, to Roma Williams Jr.
and Ladonna Janese McDaniel. Ashley entered into eternal peace on July
23, 2024. She was baptized at a young age at Liberty Hill Baptist Church in
Little Rock, Arkansas by her Pastor, Reverend Frederick Haynes. Ashley
loved her family, and she loved communicating with people. She was also a
“Facebook Queen” and was no stranger to other people's business.
In July 2004, at the age of 14, Ashley was involved in a tragic car accident
which left her paralyzed and she was placed in Easterseals Arkansas until
age 21. Upon discharge, she moved in with her grandmother, Lue Kelley,
until age 33. Ashley spent her final two years of life living in North Little
Rock.
Ashley was preceded in death by her grandfather, Roma Williams, Sr. She
leaves to cherish her memories, her father, Roma Williams Jr (Claudia),
mother, Ladonna McDaniel, step-mother, Celia Marie Coleman,
Godmother, Linda Faye Jackson (Sammy), 2 brothers, Roma Williams III
and Brandon Greer, 3 sisters: Aja N'Dea Williams, Ariel McDaniel and
Britney Thurman, 2 stepsisters: Lakendra Kertis and Iysha McDaniel, 2
stepbrothers, Curtis Wiggins Jr (Stephanie) and Jeremy Wiggins,
grandparents, George Kelley and Lue Gussie Kelley, uncle Derrick D.
Williams, a host of other uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends.
Even though Ashley has gone to be at rest without pain or illness, she is
missed. If anyone had known her, they knew Ashley was always going to
be Ashley. And if you really knew her, you know what I mean when I say,
I’m going to miss those “daddy I need $20” calls.
