Mother Belva Lee Cole was born as Belva Lee Bennett on September 24, 1953 to the late Benjamin and Gertha Mae Bennett in Little Rock, Arkansas. Belva was the eleventh of fourteen children. During Her life she attended the Pulaski County Public schools in Wrightsville. She worked at the Pulaski County School District as a bus driver, after that she was employed at the Jeans Nursing Home and later at the Baptist Hospital North Metro until she retired in 2012. Mother Cole loved working with the elderly, making pottery, spending time with family, making fans, bookmarkers, programs and working on her computer. Fishing and cooking were her two favorite things to do. Mother Cole attended Virginia Baptist Church as a child, in her youthful years she became member of Faith Temple Missionary Baptist Church and in her later she moved to New Light COGIC where she served faithfully until her health begin to fail. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Benjamin & Gertha Bennett, two brothers, Elvin Williams, Charles Bennett, two sisters, Bennie Jean Lewis and Armelia Wells, One grandson Davon Jordan. She leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter Checonia Finney, three sons Anthony Cole of Little Rock, Adrian (Tamala) Bennett, and Ivory (Cordella) Cole of North Little Rock, one daughter/ grand Tasheonia Bennett. Seven sisters, Deloris Brown, Essie Bynum, Joyce Bunting, Lucille (Darrell) Smith, Brenda Bennett, Willie (Willie) Smalley, and Patricia Bennet all of Little Rock, two brothers, Robert Bennett of Detroit, Michigan, and Benjamin Bennett of Little Rock. She also leaves 14 grand children and 17 great grand children, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
