Betty Janice Alford

Betty was born on November 3, 1941 in Gary, Indiana to the late Burrell and Willie Mae Alford. She departed this life Friday May 13, 2022. Betty accepted Christ as a young girl and rededicated her life in 1988 at Second Baptist Church in Little Rock, AR under the leadership of Rev. Billy Simmons. Betty was preceded in death by both parents, brother James and grandson Antonio. She leaves to cherish four daughters, Anita(Joe) Dysard; Jerri, Glenda and Cassandra(Keith) Allen; one son, Charles all of Little Rock, AR and one sister, Georgia Counts of Hardscramble, AR. Seven grandchildren; Tamika, Xavier, Corvette, Whitney, Michael, Precious and Aniya all of Little Rock, AR. A host of great-grandchildren. Homegoing Celebration will be Saturday May 28, 2022 11:00am at Second Baptist Church 1709 John Barrow Rd. A Family hour will be Friday May 27, 2022 from 6 til 7pm at the funeral home.
