Brenda Joyce Gober Bledsoe was born May 24, 1947 to the union of David and
Verene Gober, Sr. She was called to rest on May 28, 2025 due to complications
following a stroke and surgery at Baptist Health in Little Rock, AR.
She accepted Christ at an early age. She was an active member of New Zion
Grove Missionary Baptist Church, McAlmont, AR until her passing.
Brenda retired from Tennessee Pride after 30 years of employment. She was a
life time member of Glenview Neighborhood Association and also a member of
Pulaski County Voter Registration.
Brenda was a a graduate of S. A. Jones High School Class of 1965, she was a
graduate of Shorter Community College Alumni 1967, and UAPB Alumni 1968.
She was preceded in death by her parents: David and Verene Gober, Sr.,
husband: Edward Morris Bledsoe, sister: Juanita Arrington, Brother: Theodis
Guess, and granddaughter: Beonca Moore.
She is survived by her son: Owen E. Bledsoe, Sr., sister: Bertha Washington
(Jessie), brothers: Emith Gober (Sharon), David Gober, Jr., in-laws: Eaven
Bledsoe, Royce Bledsoe (Amy), Roymon Bledsoe, Sr., Nathaniel Bledsoe, Mary
Louise Bledsoe, four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a host of other
