Chezlazine Anderson Ford, a devoted servant of the Lord, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025, at the age of 85.
"Chey," as she was known to many, was born on March 3, 1940, in Bauxite, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Lee and Florence Anderson. Her life was a testament to her faith, shared with her husband of 43 years, Minister Jim Harry Ford Jr., who preceded her in death. Together, they were dedicated members of Children of the Kingdom Ministry, serving under the guidance of Pastor Kenneth and Lady Brenda Robinson.
Chezlazine was a cornerstone of her community, always ready with a helping hand. She also dedicated two decades of service to our nation's veterans through her work at the Department of Veterans Affairs. She will be remembered as a loving wife, daughter, sister, and a loyal friend.
She is survived by her brother, Lee James Anderson; a special sister-in-law, Wilma Anderson; brother-in-law, Will S. Ford (Deloris); close friends, Izzatta Scott and Mamie Foster; along with a multitude of nieces, nephews, family, and friends whose lives she touched.
