Clara Bea Dobbins, was born October 31, 1944 in Tillar, Arkansas to the late Percy and Mamie Williams.
Clara graduated from J. C. Cook High School in 1962. She later received her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development from Arkansas State University in Beebe. She retired from the Pulaski County Special School District in May 1999.
Clara accepted Christ at an early age and later became a member of St. Mark Baptist Church in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Clara loved spending time with her cherished daughters and magnificent grandchildren as well as talking on the phone, all day, with her siblings, family, and friends. Her favorite hobby was cooking, especially baking Cakes (German Chocolate, Red Velvet, Italian Cream and Pound). Kind and generous to a fault, she had a mild and gentle manner that made it impossible not to love her. She was extremely close to many of her nieces and nephews and was always so proud of them.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Percy and Mamie Williams; The love of her life, George Dobbins Jr, siblings; Percy Williams Jr, Estella Haye, Letha Williams, David Williams Sr, Ellen Gillen, Thena Elizabeth Dean, Vera Burton, Earl Williams Sr, and Helen Williams, God-Sister; Dorothy Jean Perry
She leaves to cherish her memory; Daughters Kim R. Dobbins-Broadway (Granville) of Little Rock, AR and Karen Y. Dobbins-Carruth (John) of Benton, AR; Daughter/Granddaughter La’Toya N. Anderson (Terry) of Baton Rouge, LA ;Bonus Children, Rodney Dobbins (Pamela) of Dallas, TX, Kedrick Dobbins (Trakenya) of North Little Rock, AR, Kristi Dobbins of North Little Rock, and Evan Dobbins of North Little Rock, AR; Goddaughter Kally Doyne-Robinson of Little Rock, AR; Godson Wayne Hansberry of Little Rock, AR; Siblings: Robert Williams of Little Rock, AR; Daisy Ford of Bryant, Linda Boone (Brett) of Piles Grove, NJ and Mary Artis of Williamstown, NJ; Godsister: Tina Lockhart of Little Rock, AR; Godbrother: Walter Dickerson (Sandra) of Little Rock, AR; Grandson Jonathan G-T. Visitation will be Friday April 22, 2022 from 6 til 8pm and Homegoing Celebration Saturday April 23, 2022 11:00am with both services at Grace Missionary Baptist Church 4425 Vinson Road Little Rock, AR.
