Corduro M. Jackson was born January 4, 1989, in Helena, Arkansas. He was raised in
Little Rock, Arkansas by his father Rickey Jackson.
Corduro attended the New Calvary Temple Church of God in Christ as a child where he
was taught the importance of God and having a relationship with God. His father also
instilled the importance of living a Christian life.
Corduro, affectionately known as “Duro “was a proud graduate of the Little Rock Central
High Class of 2007 where he was mostly known as a “Honda Boy”.
Growing up Corduro was an active member of Cub Scout, and he enjoyed playing
basketball. As he grew older his love transitioned to fast cars, his dogs, and becoming a
family man.
Corduro leaves behind a legacy of love, respect, kindness, and “LOYALTY”. His smile
would light up the room. He was currently employed at Renewable Works, where he
was a surveyor until he was called home.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his brother Dennis Stewart Jr, and Aunt
Rita Hampton.
Corduro leaves to celebrate his memory, his wife Danielle Jackson (Little Rock, AR); 2
sons Daniel Jackson and Camden Jackson (Little Rock, AR); 1 daughter Caitlyn
Jackson (Little Rock, AR); his father Rickey Jackson (Little Rock, AR); mother Paula
Walton Battles (Little Rock, AR); 4 sisters, Brandy Robinson (Brandon- Pine Bluff, AR),
Lisa Harvell (Atlanta, GA), Alexandia Battles (Little Rock, AR), and Alashia Battles (Little
Rock, AR); a special cousin Rosalyn Jackson Eatman (Terrance- Tyrone, GA) who was
like a sister/mother figure in his life; a special aunt, Deborah Riggins (Little Rock, AR); 4
nephews Braydon Robinson, Jalen and Lance Jefferson, and Keshone Smith Jr; 1
niece, Chloe Jones; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.
