Craig Andrew Scott was a native of New Orleans, LA. He was born on March 7, 1957, to Thelma Stewart Scott and Henry Scott Sr. He confessed that Jesus is Lord and believed in his heart that God raised Jesus from the dead.
As the youngest of four brothers, Craig was often looked to for guidance and wisdom during difficult times. He was always the one his family could rely on. His selflessness extended to others, as he never hesitated to lend a helping hand.
Craig enjoyed a distinguished career in Janitorial Management, earning numerous accolades for his extensive knowledge and dedication to his field. He was a loving husband and father who provided a warm and joyful home for his family, often lightening the mood with jokes that kept everyone laughing. Craig had a deep love for music, particularly jazz, and enjoyed cooking and baking, which brought delight to all who experienced his culinary creations. He was also an avid supporter of LSU and the New Orleans Saints. One of his favorite sayings was, “Variety is the spice of life.”
Craig passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025, at Baptist Health Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas, with his wife by his side. He was 68 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thelma Stewart Gordy and Henry Scott Sr., his stepfather Frank Gordy Sr., his sisters, Thelma Ann Scott and Jaynell S. Thomas, brothers: Henry Scott Jr, Michael Scott, Keith Scott and Frank Gordy Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Sharon Hagan Scott; his sons, Brandon Scott (Christy) of Bryant, AR and Justin Scott of North Little Rock, AR; his grandchildren, Brayden Scott and Kelvin Shavers; his mother-in-law, Barbara Hagan of New Orleans; LA his brothers-in-laws, Eric Hagan of Portland, OR, Curtis Hagan (Terry), Kenneth Hagan, Willie Hagan III and Willie Williams Jr. all of New Orleans, LA; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will cherish his memory.
