Dellossel V. Ellis, 80, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at Colonel Glenn Health & Rehab on December 28,2024. She was born in North Little Rock on August 20, 1944, to the late Willie Bea and Odis Haney. She accepted Christ early in life. She attended North Little Rock Public School and graduated from Scipio A. Jones High
School. She worked as a housekeeper for many years. Dellossel was a loving mother and grandmother. She cherished her children, grandchildren, and family. The things she enjoyed most were fishing, cooking, listening to music, playing dominoes, crossword puzzles, and sitting on her front porch. She was referred to as (Lois) and (Mama Ellis) of John Barrow by everyone who knew her and loved hanging out on her porch on Ludwig Street. Dellossel known quote was “It don’t cost but a dime to stay outta of mines”. After suffering several strokes in 2020, she was moved from her
home to Colonel Glenn Health & Rehab. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Bea and Odis Haney, brother, Odis Haney Jr., son Ra-mond Trent, niece, Lavern Johnson, and a grandson, Daishongh Ellis. She leaves to cherish her love and memories: Three Sons: Billy(Paula) Trent, Randal Randolph, Dishongh (LaTasha) Ellis, One Daughter: Tanya (Dennis) Seymour, One Sister: Linda Faye Johnson all Little Rock, Arkansas, and One Brother Roy Lee Boles of North Little Rock, Arkansas. Thirty-Six grandchildren, Fifty-Eight great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.
