Frank Harper Obituary

Mr. Frank Adams Harper, 70, was born July 22, 1955, in Bastrop, LA. He departed this life June 3, 2026 at Baptist Health Extended Care Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, John & Lucille Harper.

He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age at Steele Memorial Baptist Church in Granite Mountain Community. He attended school in Little Rock and graduated from Wilbur D. Mills High School.

Frank was a hardworking man who cared deeply for his family. As a young man, he worked alongside his father at Broadmore Gulf Station and later worked at J.T. Lloyd Company, where he learned the values of hard work and responsibility. Those same values of dedication, loyalty, and a strong work ethic carried on through his 30+ years with Interstate Signways.

He enjoyed the simpler things in life. He loved being outdoors, spending time fishing, and gardening. He was also known for his barbecue and took pride in cooking briskets and ribs for family gatherings. Whether he was fishing, gardening, grilling, or visiting with loved ones, Frank enjoyed being with family and friends. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and love for those around him.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his devoted and loving wife of 50 years, Hattie Rozetta Harper; his beloved children, Tanisha “Shay” Harper of Little Rock, AR,Kevin Harper of Jacksonville, AR, and Daniel Harper of Chicago, IL; and his cherished grandchildren, Tyler Harper of Little Rock, AR, and Riley Harper and Reagan Harper of Jacksonville, AR.

He also leaves to cherish his memories his loving siblings: Alice (Jessie) Floyd, John (Fannie) Harper Jr., Patricia (Leon) Wright, Nathaniel Harper, Mary Wells-Adams, Margaret Portlock, Brenda Jean Hull, and Sammie Harper, along with a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends who will forever treasure his love, wisdom and legacy.
