Henderson Spencer Obituary

Henderson Spencer was born October 18, 1955 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late great Henrietta Spencer. He was preceded in death by his siblings Howard Harris, George Gray, Jewel Boyd, Ronnie Spencer, Georgia Bush and Angie Hunter.

He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, Little Rock, Arkansas under the leadership of the late Rev. Johnnie Anderson.

He was a proud graduate of Parkview High School Class of 1974. Henderson served in the Army from 1974 to 1977 with a honorable discharge.

He dedicated over fifteen years at PPG Glass Company before he settled completely as a Librarian for Eugene J. Towbin V.A. Healthcare Center where he spent the last fifteen years of his life.

Henderson was born to bless people. He was a true giver.

He had a passion for reggae music and shopping more than anything he loved his family, especially the kids. His life was filled with joy and laughter.

Those who will forever cherish his memory include his brother Vernon Spencer, three sister; Shirley Brown-Hill (Greg), Dorothy Chism and Jessie Ford (Leonard); also a host of nieces, nephews, family and dear friends.
