Joe L. Jennings

Joe L. Jennings was born on December 16, 1950 to Richard Jennings and
Mary People Jennings in Dundee Mississippi. He gained his wings on
October 24, 2024.
He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the True Vine
Baptist Church in West Helena, Arkansas. He served as an usher in his
early years.
He attended Eliza Miller High School and finished his education in the
Job Corps.
Joe was united in holy matrimony to Mary Richardson Jennings in 1974.
A union that last fifty years. In that union one child was born; Lisa
Jennings Starr.
Joe loved hard work, his love for fishing was well known, and his love
for cooking was his way of connecting with others.
He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Mary Jennings.
His sisters Oozie, Earnestine, his brothers Issia and Richard Jennings.
Joe leaves to cherish his memories to the love of his life his wife Mary
Richardson Jennings; his daughter Lisa Starr Jennings of Little Rock; his
son’s Joseph Jennings of St Louis, Patrick Jennings of Little Rock, and
Randy Brown of Little Rock; his granddaughters who lift up his life,
Briyonna, Hailey, Alicea, and Brittany; his grandsons, Zion, Rufus
(TaShyla), and great grandchildren, RJ, Michael, Makylan, Dekhia, and
Dreunna; his sisters Mary Pudding Jennings of Atlanta, Arlene Parker
(Terry) of Atlanta, Glenda Hall of Forth Worth; his brothers Dave
Jennings (Dorise) of Houston, Sylvester Jennings of Oklahoma, James
Jennings of Oklahoma; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
