Joseph Charles Henry

Joseph Charles Henry (known as JC) was born April 26, 1930 to the
late Cortis Henry and Necie Hawthorne in Lillie, Louisiana. He later
moved to Little Rock, Arkansas where he was employed by AIMCO
Equipment Company LLC as a truck driver from 1980 until his
retirement in 2011.
On January 1, 2010, he married the love of his life Florine Johnson,
and they remained married until his death Friday, December 27, 2024.
In 2011 he united with Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church and
remained a faithful member until his health began to fail him.
JC was preceded in death by his daughter, Shelia Henry, two brothers
James and Willie Henry, and one step-son (Floyd White).
JC leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife, Florine Johnson-
Henry; one daughter, Debra Henry of Little Rock, one son, Ronald
Henry; one sister Ruby Henry Christian of Vallejo, CA. One bonus
daughter (Valerie Johnson) and two bonus sons (Darrell Robinson
and James Johnson) of Little Rock, Arkansas; one sister-in-law Alice
(Rueben) Scott of Cocoa, FL. Grandchildren, nieces, nephews,
relatives, friends and Mt. Sinai Baptist Church.
