Kenneth Ray Baker was born on December 3, 1961, in Little Rock,
Arkansas to Alfonzo Baker, Sr. and Juanita Pridgeon Baker. Kenneth transitioned on
July 24, 2023, at the age of 62. Preceded him in death; his parents, Alfonzo Baker, Sr.
and Juanita Pridgeon Baker, and his nephew Cameron Daniel Ricks.
He was a proud graduate of Forrest City High School in 1980 and went on to serve in
the United States Marines from 1983 to 1987. Kenneth enjoyed a wide range of music,
but his favorite was Sade Adu's Smooth Operator.
Kenneth is survived by his angel, Charlotte Rae Peoples, and his siblings: Vernestine
Baker Stewart, Emma Baker Dye, and Alfonzo Baker, Jr. of North Little Rock, Arkansas,
Deborah Baker Forney of Waldorf, Maryland, Linda Baker Brown of Sherwood,
Arkansas and Mary Baker Bryant of Little Rock, Arkansas, along with nieces and
nephews.
The graveside service will take place on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. at
the Arkansas State Veterans’ Cemetery, 1501 West Maryland Avenue, North Little
Rock, AR 72120.
