Michael L. Adams, the second child and only son of Naomi Mitchem Adams and Leon L. Adams, Jr. was born in Morrilton, Arkansas. A product of the Little Rock School District, Michael was skilled at tennis, a talented clarinetist, and an exceptional track athlete. After graduating from Hall High School, he attended Hendrix College. Michael was a lifelong member of Allison Memorial Presbyterian Church. He discovered one of his true passions, finding and repurposing hidden treasures. He loved to visit antiques stores and resale shops to find hidden gems he could share with family and friends. Michael was a generous soul who would give you the shirt off of his back. He always met everyone with a warm and heartfelt greeting. He loved music and could often be found quietly sitting on the front porch listening to music of all genres. He also had a vast DVD collection and spent many afternoons and evenings watching movies. He was preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Adams Holloway: his maternal grandparents, Florence Byers Mitchem and Rawleigh Elvest Mitchem; his paternal grandparents, Alberta Adams and Leon Lovejoy Adams Sr, Sr. Michael is survived by his parents Naomi Mitchem Adams and Leon L. Adams Jr.; his nephew Mikel Todd Holloway (Whitney); and his great nephew, Bryce. He is also survived by his maternal aunt, Teri Childress and his paternal aunts, Lorraine Orr, Alberta Parker, Betty Simpson, Yvonne Miller and Ida Adams. Many cousins and friends also mourn his passing.
