He loved music and could often be found quietly sitting on the front porch listening to music of all genres. He also had a vast DVD collection and spent many afternoons and evenings watching movies. He was preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Adams Holloway: his maternal grandparents, Florence Byers Mitchem and Rawleigh Elvest Mitchem; his paternal grandparents, Alberta Adams and Leon Lovejoy Adams Sr, Sr. Michael is survived by his parents Naomi Mitchem Adams and Leon L. Adams Jr.; his nephew Mikel Todd Holloway (Whitney); and his great nephew, Bryce.
