Robert Nathaniel Brown Jr.

USAF MSgt Ret. Robert N. Brown Jr. was born in Birmingham
Alabama to Robert and Sadie Brown May 2nd 1942. They then
moved to Detroit Michigan where he graduated from Western
High School in 1961. He enlisted in the USAF in 1964 and was
stationed at LRAFB in Jacksonville AR. He served 21 years in
the USAF and attained the rank of Master Sergeant and becoming
the Fire Chief at Grand Forks AFB in North Dakota. He also
served as Acting 1st Sergeant for his squadron He and his family
were stationed in Texas, Nebraska, Alaska and North Dakota. He
did a remote tour in Greenland.
He married Carolyn L. Pride in 1965. They had four sons: Robert
N. Brown, III. (Sandra), Delven L. Brown, Tirrell D. Brown, Sr.
(Antoinette Deceased), and Terry E. Brown and adopted Brittle
Bone (Deceased). He has five grandchildren: Tee Brown, II.,
Bradley R. Brown, Alexis Brown, Tearyn Brown and Laura Hull.
Also, he had three step-grandchildren: Averi Morrow, Aleshia
Morrow, Andrea Morrow, and five step-great-grandchildren. He
was the Eldest of 8 siblings: Esther Smith, Carolyn “Cookie”
Brown, Michael Brown (Debra), Dwight Brown (Deceased),
Paulette “Diane” Knott (Deceased), Anthony Brown (Anita) and

Dixie Brown. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, in-
laws and friends that he was a father to and whom he loved very much.
