A life changing event occurred on February 12th 1959 in Little Rock Arkansas when Robert James Johnson who was affectionately called Boo became the grandson of Georgia (Ralph Hood) and William Daniels. He was born to Grace Elizabeth Hood (Daniels) and Bobby Lee Parker and later adopted by Wesley Johnson. He precedes in death his parents Bobby Lee Parker, Grace and Wesley Johnson, brother Carlton Duke Hayes, Aunts Joyce Johnson, Oceola Bowers, and brother-in-law Michale Guy. He leaves to cherish his memories, his special friend Lily Cashier, sisters Lieutenant Superville, Annette Johnson, bother Freddie Hayes, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
Robert graduated from Little Rock Central High class of 1978. He attended Metropolitan Vocations School for masonry. He met and married Gail Williams in 1986. Robert worked for the City of Little Rock, Skippy Peanut butter Company and later for Yellow Cab. He had a very special love for family, and friends. He loved to cook, fish, bowl, and meeting new people. He was always upbeat and having his famous line “I’m fine.” Robert was loved by all who met him. He was well traveled within his home state of Arkansas living an optimistic and fulfilled life before settling in Eudora Arkansas with last resting place in McDermott Arkansas. He was always the face of calm and was the person you would want by your side anytime as a friend. If you knew Robert, you loved him. Many saw him as a loyal friend and the “coolest, not stirred, or shaken kind of guy.” He lived and loved fully and will be sorely missed. In his honor, we raised our glass to a luminous being with an enchanting sprit and serene heart. Rest well our beloved Robert aka Boo.
