Rose Mary Curruth

Rose was born on August 17, 1955, in Kerr, Arkansas. She departed this life on
September 28, 2024. She leaves to cherish her memory to her children: Bufford
Curruth (Ruthie), Cassandra Curruth (Norman), Schconner Curruth, Robert Curruth,
Benita Curruth, Troy Curruth and Maria Curruth. A total of 9 brother and sisters. She
also leaves 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and
other relatives and friends.

Rose was preceded in death by her son Dexter Earl Curruth, parents John and Willie B
Curruth. Two brothers: Robert and Samuel Curruth and sister Dorothy Curruth.
Rose lived life on her own terms. She made the best with less and was always friendly
and definitely outspoken with a touch of feistiness. She loved her children with all her
might. It was never a moment that she was not thinking of her children. Her past times
consisted of soap operas, the price is right, word search puzzles and let’s not forget her
blues. Every Saturday morning, we would be awakened by the radio playing those
down-home blues. She was the strongest woman that we all are blessed to have
known. Rose loved when her grandchildren came around so she could love on them
and then she would always put them to work. Rose was one of a kind and will truly be missed
