Obituary
Ms. Susie L. Davis Solee on June 3, 2023, God saw fit to call our family matriarch from labor to reward. Ms. Susie Lee Davis Solee was born January 14, 1928, to Mother Rosetta Johnson and Mr. Owen Davis, in Marianna, Arkansas. Ms. Solee is proceeded in death by both parents, her son George Washington Solee Jr. Three daughters, Barabara Solee, Rose Solee, and Shirley Parker, and one great-grandson Michael Solee (Cookie Man), four uncles, Charlie Johnson, Isaiah Johnson, Steve Watkins, and Forest Watkins, three aunts, Viola Norman, Irene Frazier, and Flora Lee Cooper.
Ms. Solee leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Deborah L. Solee, Little Rock, Arkansas. Seven grandchildren, Venus M. Johnson, Jackson, TN, Bishop-Elect Otis Brown Jr, Tamara J. Solee, Barbara A. Solee, Candance N. Solee, Little Rock, AR, Christa R. Washington, North Little Rock, AR, and Angela D. Brown, Kileen, TX.
Ms. Solee was also blessed to have to cherish her memory 21 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren, along with a host of cousins and extended family.
A public viewing has been set for June 16, 2023, from 1:00 - 5:00 pm to be held at Faithful Funeral Home 7727 Colonel Glenn RD, Little Rock, Arkansas. Final viewing set from 12:00 - 12:30 pm June 17, 2023, at Faithful Funeral Home. Graveside service to follow at 1:00pm at Arkansas Memorial Gardens 8507 Hwy 161.
