Thomas Young was born on July 26, 1957, to Leon and Dorothy Young in
Little Rock, Arkansas. He was called to eternal rest on November 2, 2025.
Thomas was a charming and outspoken individual with a radiant smile. He
had a talent for making others laugh and believed in the importance of
having a good time. Beneath his tough exterior, he possessed a kind heart
and cared deeply for those around him.
He graduated from Central High School in Little Rock. Thomas served in
the National Guard and was deployed in 1991 for Operation Desert Storm.
Thomas was preceded by his son, Corey Young, and his grandchildren,
Yasha Bonds, Jaylen Brown, and Dezjha Tillman. He also lost his parents,
Leon and Dorothy Young, as well as his siblings, Barbara Mackey, Leon
Young, Jr., Stephen Young, Dorothy Y. Young, and Marla Young.
He is survived by two sons, Quentin Young and Torey Young (Dajhell) of
Little Rock, Arkansas, one daughter Tasha Washington (Phillip), of Las
Vegas, Nevada, sisters Debbie McJunkins of North Little Rock, Arkansas,
Karen Young of Little Rock, Arkansas, and LaDonna Walton (Leonard) of
Little Rock, Arkansas, 30 grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces,
close relatives, and friends.
