Victor Thomas Obituary

Victor Thomas, a Distinguished gentleman born to Harold and Dorothy Small.
Educated in the St. Louis Public School District. He completed his studies in 1976
and went on to serve in the United States Army. Having served numerous
positions and for several companies, such as The National Personnel Record
System; Boeing Company; United States Postal Service and many more. In his
earlier days as a laborer, he would share stories how he would retire early
because he always knew he was not cut out for working hard. He always shared
the story of working as an exterminator and running down the streets and out of
his clothes.

His fondest memories of serving the public came while serving as a Human
Rescue Searcher of lost people. He took great pride and joy in assisting on the job
and bonding with the many families and people whom he served. He would later
aid in one on the biggest searches for his own stepson. He was known by many
and never met a stranger. He loved people and people loved him from all around
the world. Not many people can go through life being proud to say they have no
known enemies; however, Victor could accept the claim because he never had an
enemy. His spirit for mankind was what God commands from his people; and that
is to love past fault. Having been born a natural entertainer; he captivated people
with his singing, dancing, comedian, and musical abilities. He lived to make you
laugh, smile, and experience life with the highest regard for life! His candor and
honesty was to bridge the gap for all boys to become men and carry the torch
for family. He felt superior when serving others in ways that brought them out of
darkness and he never demanded anything of others he wouldn’t do for them.
His faith and early acceptance of Christ came as a young boy while going to
church with his family and singing in the choir as well as playing the drums and
being a part of a band. He loved his mom, Dorothy with his whole entire heart
and always looked forward to returning home to St. Louis for a visit.
