Willie C. Cobbs Sr. Blues Singer from Smale, AR. Passed at age 89 on Sunday October 24, 2021 at Somerset Senior Living, North Little Rock, AR. Willie Sr., was preceded in death by his daughter, Camille Cobbs; both his parents; his brothers: Wendell Cobbs, Booker Cobbs, Parker Cobbs, Sr., Harvey Cobbs, Jr.; and his sister, Dorothy Cheeks. Willie Sr. leaves to cherish his memory four sons: Kenneth (Kim) Cobbs, Bolingbrook, Illinois; Willie Cobbs, Jr., Duluth, Minnesota; Marlon Cobbs, Grand Rapids, Michigan; Jay (Rhianna) Hughes, Terry, Mississippi; four daughters: Alocia (Isaac) McKeever, Chicago, Illinois; Ebony Cobbs, Memphis, Tennessee; LaTasha (James) Carthans Martin, Cordova, Tennessee; Erin Cobbs, Forth Worth, Texas; one brother, Jerry Cobbs of Chicago, Illinois; three sisters: Vera Cobbs of Marianna, Arkansas; Carolyn Taylor of Little Rock, Arkansas; and Joyce Thomas of Chicago, Illinois; sixteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services are set for Saturday October 30, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at the Brinkley Convention Center, 1501 Weatherby Dr. Brinkley, AR  72021. The family will have the repass shortly following services at Marian Anderson Community Center, 209 S. Grand Ave., Brinkley, AR 72021.
