Yolanda Fay Hinton was born on September 22, 1968 in Little Rock, Arkansas to
the late Lee Williams and Ira Jean Williams. She departed this life on August 24,2024.
Yolanda grew up in a family of four with two brothers, one sister. and a host of
grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins. She was a loving and devoted mother to three sons,
and one daughter who reside in the Little Rock/Cabot/Hot Springs, Arkansas area. She
built a lifelong career of service as a mother, elementary school teacher, medical
insurance agent, and spent the last 6 years as an office manager.
She confessed a hope in Christ at an early age, wherein she joined Lee Chapel
AME Church. She transformed her faith in Christ while attending the Word of Outreach
Christian Center under the leadership of Bishop Robert E. Smith Sr, where she served as
an active member of the body of Christ.
Her greatest joys were her children, and grandchildren Michael, Morgan,
Madison, and Dexter Jr. She enjoyed spending time with her children, fellowshipping
with friends, traveling, and of course her favorite was witnessing Christ to the lost.
Yolanda was preceded in death by father (Lee Williams), mother (Ira Jean
Williams), one brother (Dennis Charles Flowers), and sister (Tammy Lee Williams-
Meadough). She leaves to cherish her memory: three sons; Dexter Lee Williams, Ricky
Lynn Hinton Jr., Joseph Lee Hinton, and a daughter Shalonda Shadea Williams.; two
grandsons: Michael Lee Williams, Dexter Lee Williams Jr. and three granddaughters:
Morgan Lynette Williams, Madison Leigh Williams and Autumn R. Wells; two nephews
Kellen Wesly (Jazzmin) Hill, and Nicholas Christopher Meadough.; one brother: Donald
Ray Flowers; one step brother :Robert L. Williams and four step sisters; Cheryl (Sunny)
Emelle, Phyliss Williams, Maxine Williams, Rose Marie (James) Phillips, Patrice
Williams and host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will dearly miss her
